CEC 2018 for Charter Schools

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a professional association of educators dedicated to advancing the success of children with exceptionalities. We want to help all educators provide quality instruction that will enable every student pursue their full potential.

CEC is the special education expert, and the CEC 2018 Convention & Expo is the special education event of the year, featuring over 600 sessions, strands, poster sessions, and more!

As part of a charter school team, you’re at the forefront of America’s educational future. By attending CEC 2018, you’ll gain additional skills and knowledge to help you help all your students. You can design your own educational experience—there are over 350 of our sessions are on topics that are of special interest to charter schools, including:

Earn while you learn!
At CEC 2018 you can earn up to 23 professional development hours (PDHs). If you’re from Florida, attending CEC 2018 can help satisfy your ESE recertification requirements—particularly in special education content! Documentation provided by CEC will allow you to submit your earned PDH hours to your district for CEU approval.
