Over breakfast you'll network with your table of peers and learn from a veteran special education professional about a topic of your choice.These events are free for all pre-service and early career teachers, but sign-ups are required as space is limited!

Sessions for Students

The Whova app allows you to search by topic to find sessions that interest you. You can also search by special audience to find sessions identified by the Program Advisory Committee to be of interest to students; filter by instructional level to find introductory sessions; or search by author to locate presentations by faculty or fellow students whom you know.

Social Events

A number of networking and social events allow time to meet up with friends and fellow students as well as to make connections with special education professionals. From the Expo Hall to open houses, there are plenty of opportunities for fun while at the CEC Convention. Remember add a ticket to our CEC Celebration on Friday night for an evening of food, drinks, and fun.
