About the CEC Convention & Expo
Each year at the CEC Convention & Expo, thousands of special education professionals from around the world come together to learn, share, grow, and connect. With over 400 sessions on just about every topic in the field, the CEC Convention & Expo is THE professional development event for special educators to find research, tips, and strategies you can actually apply to supporting students with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.
This Year's Convention
The Annual Convention offers two stellar Keynote presentations this year pulling from CEC 2025 Themes on General & Special Education and Artificial Intelligence and Special Education. Throughout Convention there are special events including Yes I Can Awards, Opening Reception, Awards Luncheon, CEC Division Spring Training, and CEC Celebration to name a few.
CEC 2025 Special Education Convention and Expo will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, March 12-15, 2025.
The CEC convention and expo has been recognized as the preeminent special education meeting in North America, and annually attracts more than 4,000 participants, most of whom are special education teachers, supervisors, related services personnel, teacher educators, administrators, and students completing their professional training. While attending the convention, you will have the opportunity to visit our expo and meet with representatives from more than 200 companies to learn about their latest products and services. The convention is also the place to meet and network with fellow educators from around the world.
