CEC 2025 CEU Claim Process

Instructional Hours/CEUs Certificates - you need 'em, we got 'em!

The online Continuing Education Units (CEUs) portal is now open for attendees of the CEC 2025 Convention & Expo! You can enter the sessions you attended while in Baltimore (pro tip: use the Whova app and add the sessions you attended to the “My Agenda” section so you have a record that you can easily access!) and receive a certificate from CEC indicating the number of instructional hours/CEUs that you acquired while attending sessions in Baltimore. When you click on the links below, you can select one of three ways to log your sessions attended and receive a certificate of verification.

The CEU portal will be open to convention attendees through August 9, 2025.

Certificate of Attendance

Just need something to verify you attended the convention?

If you don’t need CEUs or confirmation of the amount of instructional time you acquired by attending sessions—only confirmation that you attended the CEC Convention in Baltimore, you can request a general certificate of attendance here.

Cumulative CEU Certificate

Need to document all your hours?

This option works best for most attendees. Enter the sessions you attended at the convention, and then receive a certificate indicating the total calculation of the instructional hours you attended at the event. If that’s all you need, great! Click here to enter your sessions and receive your CEUs certificate.

CEUs with Verification Certificate

Need additional verification for the sessions you attended at the convention for your state or district recertification or licensure requirements?

This third option available through the CEUs portal might be best for you. You will be asked to select all the sessions you attended at the convention—same as the second option—and then you will be prompted to provide at least one “take away, strategy, or new information learned” from the session. The certificate generated will include the total number of CEUs earned and list the feedback you provided for each of those sessions. Click here for this option to verify your CEUs.

Please be advised that CEC Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are not a guarantee of acceptance of evidence of professional development by school districts since every state and/or school district may have its own standards or requirements. To verify whether CEC CEUs are accepted by your school district or state, please contact your local or state education department. Please visit the CEC Continuing Education Units page for more information.
