 Each year at the CEC Convention & Expo, thousands of special education professionals from around the world come together to learn, share, grow, and connect. With hundreds of sessions on just about every topic in the field, the CEC Convention & Expo is THE professional development event for special educators to find research, tips, and strategies you can actually apply to supporting students with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.

The Council for Exceptional Children represents members in the United States, Canada and more than fifty countries who serve children with disabilities and those with gifts and talents. Founded in 1922, CEC remains the only professional organization dedicated to improving the education of children of all ages who have disabilities and/or who are gifted, and to supporting the professionals who work on their behalf. The CEC convention and expo has been recognized as the preeminent special education meeting in North America, and annually attracts more than 4,000 participants, most of whom are special education teachers, supervisors, related services personnel, teacher educators, administrators, and students completing their professional training. While attending the convention, you will have the opportunity to visit our expo and meet with representatives from more than 200 companies to learn about their latest products and services. The convention is also the place to meet and network with fellow educators from around the world.
