CEC 2027 Second Call for Poster Submission Guidelines
Submissions are now open for Poster Sessions as part of the Second Call for Posters. To be considered for the CEC 2027 Convention Program, all participants must agree to and follow the CEC Poster Guidelines:
- Poster Session (45 minutes): An opportunity to share research and results in a visual presentation with an opportunity for attendees to ask follow-up questions of the presenter. Share your research, findings, and results in a visual presentation that engages attendees and invites conversation. Presenters must:
- Create a high-quality poster that clearly communicates the information on its own.
- Attend the full 45-minute session and be available to answer questions.
- Submission Limits: Each presenter may submit up to two (2) poster proposals in this Call. A presenter may participate in no more than four (4) sessions in total, including any already accepted during the Spring Calls.
- Membership: Presenters do not have to be CEC members to submit and present.
- Registration Requirement: All presenters must pay for their registration no later than December 9, 2026, to present.
- Presenter Limit: Each poster session will have one presenter. Up to five (5) co-authors may be listed, regardless of whether they attend, if the submission is accepted.
Note: Research-focused posters must also include implementation strategies for practical applications.

Use this form to gather all required information for submitting a Poster Presentation for consideration at the CEC 2027 Convention. Submissions will be accepted through October 14, 2026, by 5PM ET.

Additional Information
The CEC 2027 Convention & Expo will be offered in both in-person and virtual formats. Please note: all poster presentations will be in-person only.
CEC reserves the right to assign the day and time that accepted proposals will be scheduled. The date and time of your presentation will be sent in your notification email in November. Due to scheduling complexities, we are unable to accommodate changes to presenter availability once the decision process begins in late September. Submission Limit Policy
- Presenters may submit up to two (2) poster proposals in this Call.
- Presenters may participate in no more than four (4) total presentations, including those accepted during the Spring Call.
- Noncompliance with this policy may result in the disqualification of all associated submissions.
Program Content Policies
- Proposals must not promote commercially available products, services, or programs. The appropriate venue for such content is the Exhibitor Showcase Session.
- Presenters understand and agree that CEC staff may edit session titles and abstracts for use in official program content (online, mobile app, or promotional material).
Registration Policies
- All presenters for accepted proposals must pay for their registration by December 9, 2026, to be included in the program.
- Any presenter who does not register by this deadline will have their information removed from convention programming.
