Amidst the hustle and bustle of the convention, it's essential to prioritize self-care and wellness. The Wellness Pavilion offers a tranquil retreat where attendees can recharge, rejuvenate, and explore holistic approaches to well-being.
The Wellness Pavilion, sponsored by the Namaste Project and Rest From Stress, features complimentary wellness resources and short activities between your breakout sessions designed to promote relaxation and stress relief. Whether it’s journaling, drawing, or practicing mindfulness, the Wellness Pavilion offers a calming escape from your busy convention schedule. Check out all the planned activations!
Wednesday
- 7:00 – 7:45 AM: Start your day with mindfulness by joining TNP Wellness at 7:00 AM for a 45-minute session to set the tone for the day. Meet in room 313 in the Baltimore Convention Center for:
- Chair Yoga: These sessions are designed to be inclusive and are suitable for individuals of all abilities and experience levels. Utilizing a chair as a supportive prop allows you to enjoy the numerous benefits of yoga in a gentle and easily accessible manner. No need for special equipment or attire—come dressed as you would for the conference.
- 1:00 – 5:00 PM: Drop by the Wellness Pavilion at any time during the Convention and participate in a Wellness Break with the Namaste Project or an activity with Rest From Stress

- Energizing Breathwork – Increase focus and regulate your nervous system with simple breathing techniques.
- Chair Yoga Stretch Breaks – Loosen up before your next session with mindful stretches guided by expert instructors.

- Body Scan Meditation – A quick five-minute meditation to bring you back to the present moment and reduce stress.

- Mindfulness & Breathwork – Learn about mindfulness resources, practice breathwork, and tools you can use in your daily life and classroom.
- 2:00 – 2:20 PM: Attend “Know Your Stress: TEDTalk Style” and gain a clear understanding of what stress truly is, what it isn’t, and how it affects your ability to achieve personal and professional goals
- 3:00 – 3:20 PM: Attend “Know Your Stress: TEDTalk Style” and gain a clear understanding of what stress truly is, what it isn’t, and how it affects your ability to achieve personal and professional goals
- 4:00 – 4:20 PM: Participate in a “Rest From Stress Expert Q&A,” where Jen Butler, a seasoned expert with over 35 years in stress management education and CEO/Founder of Rest From Stress, will answer your questions and provide clear, actionable guidance to help you take control of your stress.
