This theme is dedicated to exploring the necessity of shifting perspectives, challenging assumptions, and constructing new understandings across educational spaces. The focus is on recognizing the profound impact of narratives in shaping perceptions, guiding behaviors, influencing educational outcomes, and retaining special education professionals. By intentionally reframing these narratives, we can challenge stereotypes, foster inclusivity, and promote equity. This strand invites deep reflection on personal and professional experiences, empowering our community to share stories that lead to transformative change.
